What is needed:
- Please prepare 32 bars of an upbeat song in the style of the show. The song should also show CHARACTER, so try staying away from ballads – sing a song in which you have a strong objective and play a character.
- Please bring sheet music with you to the audition. There will be an accompanist provided. No CD track or acapella.
- Make sure to let us know if you have any TUMBLING experience
- Callbacks will be Sat, May 2nd at Hillcrest Jr. High School, 9am to 130pm
We will notify people of callbacks on Friday, May 1. Just because you don’t make the callbacks DOESN’T MEAN you are not in the show. Callbacks are “questions” we have about certain characters. We will post on the Murray Arts Council Page on Monday, May 4th the official cast list.
Rehearsals begin Tues, May 26th and run until the end of July.
They are Monday through Friday, 7-10pm / Saturdays from 9am to 1pm. Though you will not be at every practice, you have to be available during that period for rehearsals.
Last TWO WEEKS OF JULY are rehearsals for EVERYONE.
