4 speaking roles for a Non Profit promotional video
Next Steps of SC will be filming a promo video for the ministry and is seeking to cast 4 speaking roles in the project. The ministry is non-profit but will be paying actors the fee of $35 for the 3 hour shoot. The roles being booked are listed below as well as a sample video of the type of project this will be.
Taping dates: Thursday February 19th, & Friday February 20th. (My understanding is each person cast will only have to work 1 of those days not both)
Time requirement: 3 hours
Pay Rate: $35
A little bit about the project…
Next Steps of South Carolina is a nonprofit ministry affiliated with the Episcopal Church of South Carolina. This ministry is a Christ-centered, multi-denominational effort of South Carolina churches who have a heart for helping people in poverty.
NSSC is developing a promotional ministry video as described below:
While in the NSSC program, a participant, with the help of a mentor caseworker, will define what their goals are, and then help them set doable steps, “next steps”, in achieving those goals. Participants of NSSC will come in from varied backgrounds potentially seeking guidance and resources in education, employment counseling, drug and alcohol dependency, assistance with electric bills or a hot meal, to name a few. The overall arching goal is to empower an individual with love and support to make the necessary steps in their lives and find the love of a receptive church home.
NSSC is modeled after and will be mentored by a very successful existing ministry in the Washington DC area. It is our intention of developing a similar video to the one below for promotional use with area churches.
We are looking for the following actors who would play a part in the dramatization of this developing ministry’s video.
4 actors needed as described below
Hope– Mentor/Caseworker, female, 30-50 years of age, sharp and exacting, intelligent, empathetic, leads with her heart and is inspired by helping others.
Arnetta– Participant, black female, 30-50 years of age, intelligent, thoughtful, warm and appreciative.
Richard/Rachel, participant, Hispanic/Asian/white, male/female, 30-65 years of age, cooking experience, past drug/alcohol dependency, incarceration, enthused and growing sense of self-assuredness. Needed help with education.
Kevin/Karen– participant, black/white/Hispanic/Asian, male/female, 30-65 years of age, needed help with employment and drug dependency.
