Tyler Perry Auditions “Madea On The Run” – Principal Roles

If you have always dreamed of starring alongside Tyler Perry, here is your chance because The Tyler Perry production is having a casting call.

The Touring Play is accepting online / video submissions for African American Singers in their 20’s. The production begins on the 27th of next month and rehearsals will begin in the Atlanta area in just a few weeks. Those interested in applying for the Tyler Perry show need to apply ASAP because the deadline for submissions is today, the 20th.

“Madea On The Run” offers new music written by Tyler Perry, and Tyler Perry stars in the show as the main character, Madea.  “Madea on the Run” will be coming to theaters this spring.

Madea is at it again is being called Tyler Perry’s funniest stage play ever. The inspirational, finger snapping comedy offers up some life lessons on friendship and overcoming adversity. Mabel Simmons AKA Madea is now in trouble with the law and on the run. With no where to go, Madea turns to a friend, Bam, whio is recovering from surgery and needs help. The grateful friend knows nothing about Madea’s situation and believes Madea is moving in to help out her friend. But Madea coming to stay is just what the doctor ordered and Bam’s family is in for a Madea makeover of outrageously funny proportion.

“Madea on The Run” is written and directed by Tyler Perry. Mark Swinton is producing. Talent interested in being cast in the Tyler Perry production may follow the instructions below to send their submissions to Tyler Perry Studios for consideration.

AFRICAN-AMERICAN, FEMALE, 20’S, STRONG SINGERS

We are seeking submissions of attractive African-American females, in their 20’s for the upcoming touring play of Tyler Perry’s “Madea, On The Run.” We are looking for powerful singers with a strong belt and range. To submit a self-tape of your singing ability please follow the instructions below:

• Please sing a gospel OR and R&B song – no more than sixty seconds
• Please slate in the beginning of your audition tape with the following:
• Name
• Height
• Phone Number or Agency/Manager
• City where you currently reside
• Please include a full body shot (pan the camera from the top of your head to your feet and back up to your head.
• If you submit using a smart phone, please turn the camera horizontally.
• We will accept a YouTube or Vimeo link of a current or past performance.
• If you have a headshot and resume, please include it in your submission.

Please submit no later than Friday, February 20, 2015 at 6pm EST.
