The Robert Rodriguez original TV show based on the 90’s film of the same name is now filming season 2 in Texas.
There are a few speaking roles available in the Robert Rodriguez series “From Dusk Till Dawn” . The El Rey Network show is looking to cast Hispanic men who are thin with some acting experience for small speaking parts they are also seeking men and women to work as paid TV series extras is scenes filming shortly around the Austin area.
The speaking roles are that of what they are calling “CULEBRA”, thin, emaciated looking Hispanic males (Speaking Spanish is a plus). Third Coast Extras is also looking to fill a variety of small roles ages 18 to 60. The show’s CD’s are particularly interested in people who have not yet worked as extras on “From Dusk Till Dawn“. Please see the list of types needed below. All roles are paid and the principal (speaking roles) are paying SAg SCALE.
Writer, Director and Producer, Robert Rodriguez is filming season 2 of “From Dusk Till Dawn” . The show airs on the fairly new El Rey Network. “From Dust Till Dawn” brings back the characters of the 90’s cult classic film which starred George Clooney, Selma Hayak and Quentin Tarantino. The Gecko brothers are back and the shows initial plot matches that of the original film. After a botched robbery, The Gecko brothers are on the run and kidnap a family on their way to Mexico where they are meeting up with their cartel buddies who have agreed to hide them. They make an unfortunate stop at a bar which turns all their plans upside down. The bar ends up being a favorite vampire hangout and the group ends up in a brawl with the bar’s vampire patrons. D.J. Cotrona and Zane Holtz take over as the Gecko brothers, roles originally played by Quentin Tarantino and George Clooney.
