CASTING CALL for 50/50 SCENE EXERCISE
Scene Synopsis: As part of coping with his recent cancer diagnosis, Adam meets with his therapist, Katherine, for the first time.
Character Descriptions:
Adam (male, 20s, any ethnicity) – Adam is optimistic and witty, despite being very much down on his luck.
Katherine (female, early-mid 20s, any ethnicity) – Katherine is young, enthusiastic, and a little awkward. She is also a bit naive – a lot of things go over her head.
Auditions:
Friday, February 12 from 5PM-7PM
Rehearsal Details:
– 2 or 3 rehearsals – dates & times to be decided with cast.
Performance & Shoot Details:
– In-class performance on Wednesday, February 17 from 11AM-2PM OR 6-9PM [only a 30 minute interval during one of those periods]
– Short shoot on Sunday, February 21 – flexible depending on cast availability.
Compensation:
– Non-paid
– Film credit
– Digital version of the scene for reel use
– Food, etc.
