Acting Auditions in Tampa FL for Upcoming Horror / Thriller Feature Film

A movie that will be filming in the Tampa Bay Florida area is now accepting actor submissions to fill a variety of speaking roles. 

Miami Talent is seeking a diverse cast with acting experience to fill the roles. The roles are paid and the movie will begin filming this September in Tampa Bay. Please note that transportation is not being paid and actors must have their own transportation to the set during filming. Please only apply if you live in the area and are able to commit to a filming schedule in Tampa. Interested actors must email the information requested below and actors being considered will then be mailed the sides / script and further instructions.

Character-driven horror/thriller feature film

Seeking diverse, non-traditional ensemble cast
Shoot Dates/Times: September 2016 – Single-location,
17 day shoot, consecutive with breaks, days.

All ethnicities strongly encouraged. Character actors with theater experience a plus. Must have strong dramatic chops, but also need a good sense of comedic timing. Lodging and transportation will NOT be provided. Actors must be able to stay in the Tampa Bay area during filming on their own or be local.

Will send script to preselects for a self tape and callbacks will be in Tampa July 30/31

ROLES:

Barry – 40’s to 50’s. A weary average guy who is determined to survive by taking charge of a bad situation.

Marge – 40’s to 50’s. Used to running the show, though she pretends that’s not her thing.

Vanessa – 20’s to 30’s. A petite woman who is prone to tears because she’s been separated from her husband and young daughter.

Jonathan – Early 20’s-40’s. Wired and sadistic and not the sharpest crayon in the box.

Trevor – 70’s. A frail, elderly black man with health problems.

Chad – Early 20’s. Nervous and not all that bright.

Minnie – 20’s to 30’s. A fit, no-nonsense Air Force servicewoman on vacation.

Syllabus – 30’s to 40’s. A creepy fanboy who probably lives in his mom’s basement.

Dana – 20’s to 50’s. A heavy set social worker, dressed for a night on the town.

Mr. Anderson – Late 20’s to 40’s. Aloof, domineering, condescending to women.

Mrs. Anderson – Late 20’s to 40’s. Used to being told what to do, but can hold her own.

Gary – Early 20’s-30’s. From the shallow end of gene pool, but stubborn.

Pete – 6 to 10, but appears 6. Small and shy, he cries easily.
