Bye Bye Liver: The Boston Drinking Play is a show unlike any other Beantown has to offer. It mixes the city’s love for theater and comedy with its love for drinking. Two parts sketch comedy, one part crowd interactive social games; this show is guaranteed to have you falling out of your chair laughing. Located at Hennessy’s in the Gov’t Center/Faneuil Hall Area along the Freedom Trail, the show features some of the best talent in the Boston Comedy/Theater Community. When it comes to the pratfalls and pitfalls of the drinking experience this cast of crazy characters leaves no stone unturned and no can uncrushed.

Breakdown:
We are casting males and females (18+, all types) for our core ensemble. We are especially looking for comedy chops. Experience in sketch or improv is a big plus.

Please prepare a 1 min comedic monologue. Sides will be provided at the audition.

About “Bye Bye Liver”:
Now in its 4th year running in Boston, “Bye Bye Liver” distills the best and worst of the bars into 75-min of booze-culture themed sketches. The show touches on those all-too-common situations that any bar-goer is familiar with, including that one friend who everyone swears they will never drink with again, the pushy bouncers that man the doors, or the girl with one martini too many who just goes on and on about her ex. Boston’s thriving drinking culture means that many of us have a friend that fits one of these bills (or, perhaps, we’re that friend), making the jokes hit home all the more, even for those not drinking.
“Bye Bye Liver” is also playing (and drinking) in Chicago, Cincinnati, Minneapolis, Nashville and Philadelphia.
