UT GRAD STUDENT DOGME FILM
Location: Austin, Texas
Type: Film
This film is part of a graduate-level advanced directing class at UT. We will adhere to a production code inspired by the Dogme 95 Vow of Cinematic Chastity and produce a short film that’s experimentation/improvisation based. It is to be shot with only natural lighting and diegetic sound. There is not yet a finalized script for the short film. This collaborative project will be developed through the actors and director working together in rehearsals. The current story concept is “a young male contemplates suicide at the top of a parking garage, and an older person witnesses and tries to stop him.”
