We are getting ready to start casting for a film series in the Staunton area. Darkland takes place in a mysterious, urban fantasy world and includes elements of science fiction, horror and noir.
The leads in the pilot are Cody and Kate, a streetsmart couple in their early-mid 20s.
CODY – street kid, courageous, reserved, (actor must be able to ride a moped)
KATE – brave, adventurous, trustworthy, sweet and outgoing, dresses punky
Our protagonists travel to bury a haunted urn which later triggers a series of supernatural events around the town. This episodic series will concentrate on these occurrences and Cody and Kate will return in a later episode or possibly several.
