There is a nationwide casting call out for a male actor who can portray Teddy Roosevelt in an upcoming National Geographic show.
DeLisi Creative is now accepting submissions via email and online audition submissions. The projects casting directors are seeking an actor between the ages of 35 and 50 with a strong resemblance to Teddy Roosevelt. Actor will be playing Roosevelt in his 20’s through his 50’s and production will be using makeup to age the actor chosen. Strong acting skills are a must. The show called “What Would Teddy Do” will be filming in Lithuania this April. The shoot is currently scheduled for the week of the 18th and will require actor be available for travel.
According to the Cleveland Film Commission, the role is paid. Actor cast for the National Geographic show will be paid $400 per filming day. Travel and food expenses will also be covered.

DeLisi Creative is casting a special for National Geographic’s EXPLORER called “What Would Teddy Do?,” which will examine our current political climate through the lens of TR’s life & experiences. Shoot is in the Baltics (Lithuania) for 3-4 days during week of April 18. Rate: $400/day, plus travel/food. Non union.
Looking for a male to portray TEDDY ROOSEVELT as both a young man (mid 20’s) & also older (in his 50’s; we’ll age actor if appropriate). Very interested in male actors age 35 – 50! Physical resemblance a plus, but more importantly, strong acting chops to embody his powerful, charismatic, albeit slightly nerdy persona. Horse riding skills a plus!
