“Sense8” season 2 is in production and has a few upcoming scenes filming in the Bay area later this month.
The show’s extras casting directors are seeking Bay Area locals, ages 18 to 65, of all ethnicities to work as paid background extras on the show’s San Francisco area shoot. The show films most scenes in the Chicago area and casting notices for “Sense8” Chicago area shoot should be coming up soon as well. Please note that the casting notice and casting director contact information listed below is only for the San Francisco area and will only be considering Bay Area locals as no travel expenses are paid for extras.
“Sense8” airs on Netflix and is created by Lana and Lilly Wachowski (The Matrix) and J. Michael Straczynski for Netflix. Sense8 is being produced by the Wachowskis’ Anarchos Productions and Straczynskis’ Studio JMS, along with Javelin Productions and Georgeville Television.
The show cast includes Tuppence Middleton, Brian J. Smith, Doona Bae, Aml Ameen, Max Riemelt, Tina Desai, Miguel Ángel Silvestre and Jamie Clayton. The series focuses on 8 strangers from different parts of the planet that somehow become connected through a mental link that nobody can explain. Their lives begin to intertwine through their emotional and mental link. “Sense8” season 1 premiered last year and consisted of 12 episodes. It premiered on Netflix in June.
