The Truth About Stress
Location: West Midlands – Birmingham and the surrounding areas – UK
Please note that this is a UK only project
Type: Docu-series
Blink Films is working on a BBC prime-time documentary that is due to go out next year.
Fiona Philips is fronting the documentary that is highlighting (and is aptly named) The Truth About Stress, as part of ‘The Truth About’… strand.
We’re after people from Birmingham and the surrounding areas (an hours drive of Birmingham) that suffer from stress caused by day to day life and consequently would like the opportunity to learn how to manage it.
We would like participants from all walks of life to come forward and get involved. From the busy mums juggling work and family and carers for loved ones to the office workers who has technology and social media to deal with, as well as those working closely with the public on a daily basis.
The chosen 4 individuals will learn how to manage their worries, stress and consequently bad lifestyle choices caused by the pressures of daily life, with the help of Fiona and our team of experts.
This would be a low commitment production requiring only 4 or 5 filming days between 21st November until the 2nd week of January (not including the Christmas holidays). The specific dates are highlighted on the leaflet.
If you are interested in taking part please email with your name, age, what you do for a living and a short paragraph about you and what stresses you out.
Many thanks,
