Theatrical Tour Guide Character (Ghost Tour)

Local tourism company seeks guides for Ghost Tour.
Our tourism company is seeking ghost tour guides to work on a contracted term basis for our 2016 tour season. Guides must be able to strongly deliver stories that combine history and folklore. The position functions predominately on Friday and Saturday evenings. Tour guides perform in character, wearing period costume, and in special effects make-up.
Applicants must:
Have open availability to work every Friday and Saturday evening May through October (no exceptions)
The month of October guides must have full open availability INCLUDING Halloween.
Be willing to dress in period costume and special effects makeup.
Have extensive acting experience (preferred)
Have previous tour guide experience (preferred)
Have their own transportation
Be in good health and able to walk and talk for up to periods of an hour and a half.
Be interested in the paranormal and Richmond’s history.
Interviews with selected candidates will take place at the end of April and for those who move on in the interview process and are contracted to work as guides, they will receive paid training during the month of May, and will begin regular touring as a tour guide in June 2016.
Pay rate per-tour discussed at interview.
