Casting Call for Aliens in Marvel’s “Avengers” Filming in GA in 2017

Avengers Infinity War will be filming at Atlanta’s Pinewood Studios all through 2017 and casting for aliens.

Central Casting held an Avengers open call in December and now seems to be taking individual submissions for “Avengers: Infinity War.”  The sci-fi movie is  rumored to be a 2 part film that will make up the 3rd and 4th installment of Marvel’s comic book based movie series.

“Avengers 3 & 4” will be introducing Josh Brolin as Thanos and is said to follow the comics Infinity Gems story line.  Thanos AKA the Mad Titan, sets his sights on assembling six “Infinity Gems.” Assembling all six gems which control Time, Space, Mind, Soul, Reality and Power, are said to give him infinite, GOD like, powers and the ability to destroy anything he wants. Thanos, being Mad, sets off to destroy pretty much everything he can and brings a wave of chaos to the galaxy. The only people who can stop the madness, are of course, the Avengers who are also joined by Marvel’s crew of cosmic misfits, Guardians of the Galaxy.

Cast in  Avengers 3  are pretty much all the Marvel superheroes…. The studio seems to have got EVERYONE in on this….

The movie database IMDB has a long, long, cast list for “Avengers Infinity War.”  Chris Pratt returns as Peter Quill / Star-Lord, Tom Holland plays Spidey, Scarlett Johansson resumes her role as Natasha Romanoff AKA Black Widow, Vin Diesel voices Groot, Karen Gillan plays Nebula, Benedict Cumberbatch plays Dr. Stephen Strange, Zoe Saldana reprises her Guardians role of Gamora, Brie Larson plays Captain Marvel, Robert Downey Jr. is Iron Man, Chris Evans returns as Captain America, Chris Hemsworth is back as Thor, Winter Soldier villain, Sebastian Stan reprises the Winter Soldier, Elizabeth Olsen plays the Scarlet Witch, Bradley Cooper voices Rocket Raccoon and Dave Bautista is back as Drax. Rumor has it that Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, Chadwick Boseman, Paul Rudd, Paul Bettany, Benedict Wong and Samuel L. Jackson are also to be part of the Avengers cast as well.

The movie will be beginning production in Georgia in January of 2017 and will be filming for most of 2017.   Both films currently have May release dates with “Infinity War Part 1” due out in May of 2018 and “Avengers: Infinity War Part 2” following in 2019.  “Avengers 3” and “Avengers 4” will apparently be filming back to back at Pinewood Studios and there are many opportunities for those that would like to be cast in a small, extras, role.

Here is your chance because Central Casting is looking for tall men and women who live in and around the Atlanta area to work on set as alien extras in the spring of 2017. Specifically, Central is looking for slender and fit people ages 18 to 50’s of all ethnicities who are willing to have body pain and prosthetics applied to their face and body. The scene is scheduled to film a day in April 2017 and a day in May 2017.

Casting directors are getting a jump start on these roles as the talent cast will need to attend quite a few costume fittings and makeup tests prior to the filming dates. While therse are considered extras roles, additional pay will be provided for both the makeup and prosthetic applications.

Please note that you must live in the Atlanta area in order to be considered. Please only submit if you are local to the area.

Aliens: We are now taking submissions to be considered for a fun background role on this upcoming movie. Looking for men and women, all ethnicities, who appear 18 – 50’s, who are TALL with a

SLENDER or athletic build. MUST be comfortable being PAINTED (including on your face & any exposed body parts). Also looking for people willing to have prosthetics applied to their face, in addition to being painted. Bumps will be provided for makeup & prosthetic applications.

Filming is tentatively scheduled for April 5 & May 30- must be available for BOTH days with no conflicts. Must have an open & flexible schedule as you will be needed for multiple wardrobe fittings & makeup tests prior to the film dates.

Don’t fit the above descriptions, you can still get a small role. Central Casting will be taking registrations at their office Monday through Friday following the holidays in 2017 for locals who would like to work as paid extras on this project and the other projects they are working on in Atlanta.
