Casting Call for “Fast 8” in Atlanta

Now casting talent for “Fast and Furious 8”

The “Fast & Furious” franchise is coming back with 3 new films. The first of the 3, “Fast 8” is now in production in the Atlanta area and has a casting call out to fill some small roles.

Atlanta area casting directors at Rose Locke are getting a jump on casting and looking for talent available to work on set multiple days in May and June. The roles are listed below as well as the submission guidelines for the photos. The movie’s CDs are asking that Atlanta area talent interested in the roles get their photos and contact info in ASAP. While the roles are for scenes that film next month, the talent will be selected by the director shortly.

Seems that Universal’s “Fast and Furious” franchise is getting back into gear and beginning production of a new chapter in the series, “Fast 8: New Roads Ahead“. Recent news has hinted that “Fast 8” will be the 1st film in a trilogy that will bring an end to the current “Fast and Furious” franchise. The news came by way of Vin Diesel’s Instagram account, where he announced the release dates for the 3 final films. “Fast 8” will be released in theaters on April 14, 2017. Fast & Furious 9 will come out 2 years after on April 19,2019 and Fans will have to wait until the next decade for the finale, “Fast 10? which is set to hit theaters on April 2, 2021.

According to the movie’s IMDB page, “Fast 8” is bringing back most of the cast from previous films and will star Charlize Theron as the sole villain in the story. Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham, Vin Diesel reprises his role as Dominic Toretto, Michelle Rodriguez returns as Letty, Eva Mendes will play Monica Fuentes, Lucas Black plays Sean Boswell, Tyrese Gibson returns as Roman Pearce and Ludacris plays Tej Parker.

With the submissions above we want women to have make-up (minimal) but we are still requesting sending pictures similar to those below. Men should be clean shaven or well groomed, no 5′ oclock shadows. Should be a simple backdrop, well lit, in focus, and you need to be the only one in the picture. It’s great to wear solid color clothing that fits your form, baggy clothes are not good! We DO NOT want them in the card form but we do want all the info providing on the card in the body of the e-mail. You may also send any additional pics as well. Pictures are the MAIN reason people are not chosen. Your pictures often times prevent you from even be submitted to the director. Pictures sent from a night out on the town with 10 other people in them , pictures taken from every angle other than straight one and sending them with filters found on instagram is not ok. We need see what you truly look like the best we can without the opportunity to meet you in person.
