Get cast in “Jumangi 2”
“Jumanji” is coming back to the movie theaters and the Jumanji movie is now in production in the Atlanta area.
Atlanta’s Central Casting office is holding an open casting call at their Atlanta office daily and also has some roles to fill ASAP. The movie also has some current needs for talent who are available to work this week.
“Jumanji” stars Karen Gillan, Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Jack Black and Nick Jonas. The IMDB description is a bit vague and only states that “Explorers go looking for the humankind game that had ended up in a mystical jungle.” Jake Kasdan, whose previous projects include the comedies Bad Teacher and Sex Tape, is directing the project with Chris McKenna and Jeff Pinkner credited as writers on the film. The newest “Jumanji” movie is expected to hit movie theaters in December of 2017.
When the project was first announced there was some confusion as to whether the new “Jumanji” film was a reboot or a sequel. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson who has the lead role in the project cleared it up via his Instagram account stating…
Yo.. Lots of positive chatter now on something I should’ve clarified months ago when we announced we were making JUMANJI. This new movie will NOT be a remake or reboot of the original. It will be a CONTINUATION of the awesome JUMANJI adventure 20 years later. As a producer on this movie and someone who loves the original, you have my word we’ll honor the legend of “Alan Parrish” and properly introduce a whole new generation to the fun and crazy JUMANJI universe that so many of us loved and grew up on. Our director Jake Kasdan and lead producer Matt Tohlmach are focused and ready go. They also have no f*cking idea what they’ve gotten themselves into by hiring Me, Kevin Hart and Jack Black aka “The Cray Cray Triplets” as the stars of this movie.
The movie has also been filming in Hawaii for many of their jungle scenes and there have been casting calls in Hawaii as well.

The movie films in the Atlanta area as well and is currently only considering talent that lives nearby. If you live in Atlanta and would love to land a small, non-speaking role in the movie you may stop by their offices between 10 AM and 2 PM Monday through Friday to get their photo taken and register with the casting department.
