Teen extras in NYC
New York area casting directors are looking to cast Latino teens for feature film “Collateral Beauty“
“Collateral Beauty” is filming in the NYC area this month and has a call out for Hispanic teens between the ages of 14 and 17 to work as paid background actors in a classroom scene that is filming next week on the 21st. Teens will be playing Mexican students in the class so the casting directors are only interested in Latino kids. GWC of NYC is only considering submissions from talent in the NY / Tri-State area.
Will Smith stars in the upcoming film in which he plays an advertising executive that falls into a depression. His well meaning colleagues notice his depressed mood and hatch a plan to get him out of his funk. His colleagues are in for a shock when the plan they create does not go as they planned.
The upcoming New Line Cinema film is packing a lot of star power. The movie has put together an amazing ensemble cast which also includes Kate Winslet, Keira Knightley, Edward Norton, Helen Mirren, Naomie Harris, Rachel McAdams and Michael Peña. A few days back, the movie’s producers announced that “Collateral Beauty” will be opening in theaters on December 16th 2016 which happens to be the same day that Disney’s new “Star Wars” film will open. Disney’s Star Wars spin-off “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” is the only other movie currently scheduled to be released on the 16th.
According to The Wrap, David Frankel will be directing the film which is financed by Village Roadshow. Frankel directed films like Marley and Me, The Devil Wears Prada and Hope Springs, and has helmed episodes of Entourage and Sex and the City. Here Comes the Boom writer, Allan Loeb is part of the project’s writing team.

Interior shoot in Manhattan.
Must attend a wardrobe fitting on Friday, 3/18.
Must be in the Tri-State area.
