Casting call out for a teen rapper in the Chicago area for an upcoming episode of “Chicago P.D.”
If you are a REAL rapper, look like you are a teen and live in the Chicago area, here is a chance to be featured on a TV show.
Principal casting directors for the show are seeking a male, African American rapper to portray a 16 year old rapper on the show. The casting directors for the project at Chicago’s Simon Casting are only considering talent that lives in the Chicago area and auditions for the role will be held by appointment only. The scenes will be filming later this month between the 11th and 22nd of August.
“Chicago P.D.” is one of 4 current shows airing on NBC and set in Chicago. Sister shows, “Chicago fire,” “Chicago Med” and the newest Chicago show, “Chicago Justice” are also filming their new seasons and casting talent in the area. “Chicago PD” is a spin-off of the “Chicago Fire” series. Don Kress, Andre Bellos and America Olivo star in ”Chicago P.D.” All 4 Chicago shows were created by “Law and Order’s” Dick Wolf and Matt Olmstead.
See – The Chicago casting calls page for information on how to get cast in those shows.
By the way, there is another casting call for an African American rapper to appear on “Empire.” The same casting directors are seeking an African American male actor to play Shine as a teenager. Those auditions are also taking place this week in Chicago.
Please see Audition for a Speaking Role on Empire for more information about that role.
