“Chicago PD” – Featured Extras Casting for New Season in Chicago Illinois

Looking for a small part on a TV show? “Chicago P.D.” is casting paid, featured roles for the 2016 / 2017 season of the show.

“Chicago P.D.” is filming season 4 and casting directors are seeking Chicago locals to fill some small, featured roles in an upcoming episode. The show’s extras casting team at Tailsticks casting is interested in Chicago area talent available to work  on set shortly   Please see the details below for submission information and availability requirements.

“Chicago PD” airs on NBC and is a spin-off of the “Chicago Fire” series, which, by the way is also in production and casting extras this month in Chicagoland as well. The show stars Don Kress, Andre Bellos and America Olivo.  “Chicago P.D.” was created by “Law and Order’s”  Dick Wolf and Matt Olmstead.  The show follows 2 units of the Chicago Police Department, a uniformed police patrol or beat cop unit and the intelligence unit that investigates the cities major crimes.

NBC’s Chicago PD – Featured Background Roles Available!

AVAILABLE ROLES:

*Applicants must have flexible schedules, as dates are still subject to change and if selected you must then have no time constraints on the finalized dates.

SUBMISSION TITLE: “O’SULLIVANS”
DIRECTOR AUDITION: Thursday, Oct. 6th, in the afternoon at Cinespace (time TBD)
FILMS: Tentatively Tuesday, Oct. 18th
ROLES: FEATURED Mother and Father of fallen officer
SPECS: Seeking a CAUCASIAN Male and Female; late 40’s to early 60’s; to play mother and father of a young police officer. This role will require these actors to display raw grief. We will be holding auditions/interviews with the director for these roles, so we’re looking for GREAT NON-VERBAL ACTING SKILLS. When submitting, please include your acting reel & resume if you have one. Please also include any absolute conflicts between now and October 21st! Those selected must be available to attend a wardrobe fitting prior to the film date, during the day, at Cinespace Film Studios.
PAY RATE: $275/8 hours and time and one half for anything after that; +$25 Fitting Bump to your first day of work.

SUBMISSION TITLE: “TULPS”
DIRECTOR AUDITION: Thursday, Oct. 6th, in the afternoon at Cinespace (time TBD)
FILMS: Tentative 2-Day Booking: Thursday, Oct. 13th & Friday, Oct. 14th
ROLES: FEATURED Mother and Daughter HOSTAGES
SPECS: Seeking a Female, age range: 40s & a Female Minor, age range: 7-10 YO (to-look-younger) play featured hostages. Any ethnicity with a middle-to-upper class appearance. This Mother/Daughter will be bound and gagged (faked for TV purposes) in an interior house setting. Applicants must be comfortable with this scenario. We will be holding auditions/interviews with the director for these roles, so we’re looking for GREAT NON-VERBAL ACTING SKILLS. New faces STRONGLY encouraged to submit. SUBMISSION TITLE: “THE HUNTED”
FILMS: Tentative 2-Day Booking: Thursday, Oct. 6th & Monday, Oct. 17th
ROLES: FEATURED Dead Body – Male, Caucasian, Age range: 20s-early 30s.
SPECS: Seeking Caucasian male, Ages: 20s-early 30’s, to play this episode’s featured victim. This character must have a fit/athletic build, with tight hair-cut (or willing to have their hair cut), and well-groomed (NO facial hair). Applicant must be comfortable with extensive SFX make-up/blood and laying still on the ground for an extended period of time for an exterior crime scene. *If you have any allergies please be sure to list that in your submission as well. This is a 2-Day Booking, so please only submit if you have both days available to film with us: first day will be a photo shoot & second day will be filming of the crime scene. Must be available to attend a mandatory wardrobe fitting prior to the film date (most likely Wed., Oct. 5th), during the day, at Cinespace Film Studios.

SUBMISSION TITLE: “WHO-DONE-IT”
FILMS: Thursday, Oct. 6th
ROLES: Photo Array of Suspects
SPECS: Looking for Men, Ages: early 20’s-early 50’s, Criminal types in all ethnicities: Caucasian, African American, Hispanic, Middle Eastern, etc. Bad Guy types for a Mugshot Photo Shoot for a featured photo array board. Photo shoot will take place at Cinespace Film Studios.
PAY RATE: $84/8 hours and time and one half for anything after that.

SUBMISSION TITLE: “ROOMMATE”
FILMS: Tentatively Thursday, Oct. 13th
ROLES: Featured Dead Body: Male, Age range: 20s-early 30s
SPECS: Seeking a Male, Ages: 20s-early 30’s, any ethnicity to play a featured dead body. This character should be fit/athletic build with a military appearance. Applicant must be comfortable with extensive SFX make-up/blood and laying still on the ground for an extended period of time for an interior crime scene. *If you have any allergies please be sure to list that in your submission as well. Must be available to attend a mandatory wardrobe fitting prior to the film date during the day, at Cinespace Film Studios.

ROLES: Featured Mother and Daughter
SPECS: Seeking a Female, Age range: 30s-40s & a Female Minor, Age Range: 10-13 YO (to-look-younger) play featured apartment residents fleeing the building. Any ethnicity with a middle-to-upper class appearance. Applicants should have strong, non-verbal acting abilities. All minor applicants must have a valid TSC or ECC Minor Work Permit. SPECS: Seeking Male, Age range: 50s-late 60s, any ethnicity to play a featured police chaplain escorting grieving parents. If selected, you must be available to attend a mandatory wardrobe fitting prior to the film date, during the day, at Cinespace Film Studios.
