The Gift (The Christmas Musical)

Casting for a young, African American boy (between ages of 8-12) who can SING as well as ACT in a Good Samaritan Christmas musical entitled, “The Gift”, about a Bishop who is mugged en-route to a Christmas revival that he has been invited to be a guest speaker. While entering the town, he is mugged and the very same people in the church which he was invited leave him wounded and refuse to help him. However, the homeless folks, a hustler girl, a homeless man, and a bag lady…feed him, minister to his needs…and offer him a place to lay his head for the night. It goes to show you…some gifts come in unexpected places. The young boy I need with be the younger brother to the hustler girl.
Also, in need of a makeup artist(s) (pro bono) for this weekend’s performance of the award-winning domestic violence awareness stage play, “A Change Is Gonna Come” on Saturday, October 8th at 3pm – call time 12 Noon, and Sunday, October 9th – call time 2 pm.
