Pickerington Community Theatre has scheduled audition dates for its summer musical, ‘South Pacific’! The Rodgers & Hammerstein classic will be onstage at the Heritage Theater in July, 2016.
Choose one of the following two audition times:
Friday, April 22nd 6:30pm – 9:30pm
Saturday, April 23rd 2pm – 5pm*
Auditions will be held at Epiphany Lutheran Church,
268 Hill Rd North, Pickerington, Ohio
Performance Dates (at the Heritage Theater in Pickerington)
8pm Fridays & Saturdays July 8, 9, 15, 16
2pm Sundays July 10 & 17

*If you are unable to audition April 22nd or 23rd please contact the director, Chris Gallaugher, at pct@insight.rr.com to schedule an earlier audition.
Audition Process:
You will be asked to fill out an audition form (it is available on this website if you wish to fill it out ahead of time and bring it with you). You may attach a resume and picture if you wish (it is not required). Please prepare 32 bars of a classical musical theatre piece (Rodgers & Hammerstein, Bernstein, Styne, etc..). Please have your music clearly marked. An accompanist will be provided. CD accompaniment is also fine. There will also be a short dance/movement audition for those auditioning for roles that involve some dancing. Please bring appropriate footwear. If seeking a speaking role, please be prepared to stay for cold readings from the script.
