The new season of “Devious Maids” is in production and looking to cast what is described as the “Event of the season”, a wedding.
Want to go to a wedding with the Devious Maids cast? The show’s extras casting directors are looking for background actors in the Atlanta area to fill many small roles in an upcoming wedding scene. Seems someone on the show will be getting married. The show’s casting team is looking for talent to play wedding party staff, bartenders, waiters, serving staff, musicians and wedding guests. The show needs talent of all ages and ethnicities on this one.
Talent interested in the roles is asked to submit a photo and their contact info ASAP. While we know someone is getting married and CD’s promise this will “the event of the season,” no word as to who is actually getting married. That information is under wraps.
“Devious Maids” is described as a comedic soap. The series is produced by ABC and airs on the Lifetime Network and is inspired by the telenovela, “Ellas son…la Alegría del Hogar.”
The show’s cast includes Ana Ortiz, Dania Ramirez, Roselyn Sánchez, Edy Ganem, and Judy Reyes. Other show regulars include Susan Lucci, Rebecca Wisocky, Tom Irwin, Brianna Brown, Brett Cullen, Mariana Klaveno, and Grant Show. The show is executive produced by “Desperate Housewives” Eva Longoria along with Marc Cherry and Sabrina Wind who also worked on “Desperate Housewives“.
