Who We Are
Jason Hall (writer, American Sniper) is directing a movie he wrote for Steven Spielberg and Amblin Partners entitled Thank You For Your Service, based on the book by David Finkel. The story follows a group of U.S. soldiers returning from Iraq who struggle to integrate back into family and civilian life, coping with the memory of a war that threatens to destroy them long after they’ve left the battlefield.
Our Request of You
Jason would like to honor the memory of service men and women who have given the ultimate sacrifice for our country, including those who have died in combat or by suicide. Should you choose to participate, we will display your loves one’s name on a dog tag featured in the film alongside other fallen heroes. The image is meant to memorialize their lives and pay tribute to the service they gave to our country. We are accepting veterans of all U.S. engagements over the last century. Additionally, if you would like us to feature your veteran’s picture on a Wall of Honor in the film’s VA, please also include a military portrait of your loved one in uniform.
If you have anyone in your family then please email

Hi, I would like to sign up for casting SECURITY GUARD.
My son is Adam Schumann, one of the main characters in “Thank you for your service”. I am gratified this story is being told. The public truly needs to see below the surface of what “war” is; not just heroes and flag waving.
I would love to be involved in any capacity contributing to this project. I am in fact a grandma, 58 years old. I have the ability to travel to Atlanta even though Adam and I live in North Dakota. It would be an honor to be included.
Thank you, Chris Reichenberger
Robert Denzel on YouTube looks and acts like Denzel. Your production could use someone people like to look at on a big screen. Robert is your man to act out the ” Security Guard ” and you could even make the scrip a bit -Monologue-Strong. Call Robert Denzel in Toledo Ohio cell phone 567- 395- 9602 set him up with a room near the set and he will work with you all day every day on time to make film history at its best. You want the best.
I am interested in the role as Grandmother for the DreamWorks Film. My pictures are on Face Book. Please let me know what you would need in order for me to interview for this role. Thank you…..Adrienne
