Baby casting search for FOXs “Empire”
A baby casting call is out for “Empire.” The show is gearing up for production once again and the show’s casting directors have a casting call out for twin baby girls in the Chicagoland area.
“Empire” season 3 is in need of a baby it seems. The show is on the lookout out for twin, African American or Bi-racial baby girls who are newborn to 2 months old. The babies are being cast to appear in multiple episodes so the roles will be recurring. Babies must be available for filming in Chicago beginning in early July and may be needed for “Empire” film shoots going into April of 2017. Please note that the babies must be twins in order to be considered and no older than 2 months old.
Fox’s “Empire” is coming back for season 3. FOX announced the renewal early last year, before the second season even premiered. The renewal news came as no surprise considering this is one of the network’s most popular shows. The popular FOX drama ended season 2 with quite the bang. “Empire’s” season 2 finale left viewers with quite a bit to look forward to in season 3. The show ended with a rooftop brawl, a wedding and a new affair for the Lyon’s family members. It may be a few months until “Empire” fans get to see what happens next. The show’s last season premiered in late September so season 3 will most likely debut around the same time. Written by the team behind “Lee Daniels: The Butler,” Lee Daniels and Danny Strong, the show has been a solid performer for FOX with the last season’s premier being watched by over 16 million people.
“Empire” tells the story behind Empire Entertainment, a family run music empire. Terrence Howard plays Lucious, a man who rose through the streets to become a hip hop music mogul. Lucious is at the top of the music business and head of Empire records when he comes to find out that his days at the helm are numbered. The doctors deliver the news that he is ill and his physical / mental state will begin to degrade soon. He must now begin grooming his successor, one of his three sons. Yet, none of his 3 children are a good fit to take the helm. Of his 3 sons, one is gay, another lacks ambition and his 3rd, an MBA, lacks an ear for music. Complicating the situation is his ex wife, Cookie, played by Taraji P. Henson. Years ago she went to jail for Lucious and is now out looking for her cut of the business as well.
