GWC in New York is now casting background extras for an airport scene on the NBC series “Mysteries of Laura” in the Long Island area.
The scene will be filming next week at MacArthur Airport . Grant Wilfley casting in New York City is seeking a variety of background actors to play restaurant guests. The scene will film next week on Monday the 8th and will be an all day shoot. Those applying must have full availability for the entire day.
THE MYSTERIES OF LAURA stars Emmy Award-winner Debra Messing (Will & Grace) as NYC homicide detective, Laura Diamond. Laura also happens to be a single mother of twin boys. Her twins may give her more trouble than her suspects and Laura’s life is further complicated by her almost ex-husband who is also a cop.
Between cleaning up after her boys and cleaning up the streets, she’d be the first to admit she has her “hot mess” moments in this hilariously authentic look at what it really means to be a “working mom” today. Somehow she makes it all work with the help of her sexy and understanding partner. For Laura, every day is a high-wire balancing act. The NBC series also stars Laz Alonso and Janina Gavankar.
According to NBC, the Warner Bros produced series is written by Jeff Rake (“Boston Legal”) and directed by McG (“Supernatural”). The show is currently in production of the new season which airs on NBC.
