Logline: A man’s obsession with his southern suburban utopia, devolves to borderline insanity when a newer, browner, more feminine neighbor challenges him for one of America’s highly coveted political positions–President of the neighborhood Homeowner’s Association.
Project Description: Keeton Olson for HOA President: A Mild Inconvenience is a satirical comedy about a man in his mid life who is relentlessly passionate about becoming the next president of his neighborhood’s Home Owner’s Association. Keeton begins to discover that there may be more to the world than his particular brand of suburbia, when Juniper Fields-White also volunteers for HOA president, forcing a presidential race and campaign. Keeton truly believes that Juniper in all of her chocolate grace, intellect, and poise, is a treat to the status quo, and he will stop at nothing, in order to make his glorious neighborhood great again.
