“Fast 8” Casting Call for Precision Drivers in Cleveland

“Fast & Furious 8” is filming some action scenes in Cleveland and now casting experienced drivers with on set experience to play drivers.

Currently, the production needs precision drivers with their own cars in Cleveland. The cars need to be regular cars, not race cars. See car specs below. Talent chosen to play drivers will need to attend an audition as well as a driver training session this weekend. Please note that the submission instructions are only for the driver roles and there is a different notice for general extras. There is a second call for a male featured extra as well.

Universal Pictures is working on a new chapter for their popular “Fast and Furious” franchise.   “Fast 8: New Roads Ahead” is supposedly the 1st film in a trilogy that will bring the long running  “Fast and Furious” franchise to a close.   “Fast 8” is in production this summer and will reunite most of the “Fast & Furious” cast from previous films.  Vin Diesel announced the news of the upcoming trilogy via his Instagram account, where he also announced the release dates for the 3 final films. “Fast 8” will be hitting the movie theaters in about a year on April 14, 2017.  “Fast & Furious 9″ will follow two years after the first on on April 19,2019 and fans will have to wait until the next decade for the finale, “Fast 10” which is set to hit theaters on April 2, 2021.

CASTING NEED: We are looking for people who are FULLY AVAILABLE May 18th-June 10th to be Precision Drivers in the FAST 8 movie filming in Cleveland. Must be available Sunday, May 15th for a mandatory training and audition. If you possess the skills needed you will be chosen. Must have set experience and good driving skills. You must be able to bring your own car to be in the film-NO red, white, dents, rust, stickers, etc. We are looking for normal, everyday cars, not racing cars or custom paint jobs. Looking for a homeless man on set. Needs to have full availability every shoot day from May 18th-June 10th. Needs to be available for a fitting Saturday morning.
