Type: Film

All talent must be NON-UNION or FINANCIAL CORE. If you feel comfortable doing so, please note if talent is Indian or Pakistani on the submission.

Shoot dates: 2 days between 7/1 – 7/3

SONI: Female, mid to late 20s, must be Indian or Pakistani origin and speak Hindi/Urdu, preferably athletic physique. After an unjust imprisonment, her past haunts her leaving Soni embittered and cynical. She feels betrayed and, thus, finds it hard to trust anyone anymore. She is mentally tough, but her biggest vulnerability is her hot-headedness. LEAD. Works 2 days. 200/day.

KALPANA: Female, 30s, must be Indian or Pakistani origin and speak Hindi/Urdu. She’s New Delhi’s deputy police commissioner who leads by example. She’s the textbook example of the independent, modern woman in India. She’s a fighter who never flinches, even in the most testing of times. She shows consistent strength under pressure. She is sincere and passionate about her job, and adheres to the law as much as she believes in enforcing it. LEAD. Works 2 days. 200/day.

COMMISSIONER: Male, 40s to 50s, must be Indian origin and speak Hindi/Urdu. He’s the police commissioner of New Delhi. He’s a dedicated public servant, who serves with integrity. He is progressive by nature, and likes to do whatever he can to support or empower his subordinates. He is judicious, result-oriented, and must be honest and blunt in order to protect his staff and the public. SUPPORTING. Works 1 day. 200/day.

GANESH: Male, 30s to 40s, must appear as Indian or Pakistani. He’s a cab driver in India. SUPPORTING. 1 day of work. Likely 6 hours or less of shooting. 100/day.

DHARA: Female, late 20s to 30s, must appear as Indian or Pakistani. She’s Soni’s cellmate in Indian prison. She’s in jail for brutally assaulting a cop after she was raped by him. Lines will be improvised. SUPPORTING. 1 day of work. Likely 6 hours or less of shooting. 100/day.

MALE BICYCLIST: Male 20s to 30s, preferably Indian or Pakistani origin, but can just look that way in appearance. In the film opener, he pedals on his bike to overtake our lead, Soni. It is implied that he is a predator and Soni is his prey, in an extremely high-stake scene. This character does not speak, but must be able to tell an intense story with just their eyes and body language, a universal spoken language. Strong actor needed. SUPPORTING. 1 day of work. Likely 6 hours or less of shooting. 100/day.
