Auditions for Jekyll and Hyde – The Musical
Theater in Guntersville Alabama (About an hour south of Huntsville)
First and foremost let me thank you for your interest in auditioning for Jekyll and Hyde The Musical. This is going to be an incredible experience and we are so PUMPED that you want to be a part of it. To make the audition process go as smoothly as possible PLEASE read EVERYTHING on this notice so you can be as prepared as you possible can be!
We will be looking to fill the following roles:
Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde (yes this is portrayed by one person) (Baritone)
Emma Carew (Soprano)
Lucy Harris (Mezzo – Soprano)
The Bishop of Basingstoke (Baritone)
Gabriel John Utterson (Bass)
Simon Stride (Baritone)
Sir Danvers Carew (Baritone)
Lord Glossop (Male Spoken)
Nellie (Mezzo-Soprano)
Spider (Bass)
Lord Savage (Male Spoken)
Sir Archibald Proops (Baritone)
Guinevere (Female Spoken)
Poole (Male Spoken)
Lady Beaconsfield (Mezzo-Soprano)
In addition to these roles we will be looking to cast a 6 person sextet that will sing lead on all choral numbers. Also solos within the choral numbers will be selected from these six individuals.
Lastly we will be looking for 10-15 additional chorus members/dancers

The Whole Backstage Theater is a non profit Community Theater and therefore does not pay its actors.
Auditions will be held at The Whole Backstage Playhouse at 1120 Rayburn Ave, Guntersville Alabama 35976.
