SOS: Surviving on Stamps is a new online reality show featuring families and individuals on food stamps or low-income struggling to eat healthily. The goal is to transform diets and ultimately lives by teaching people how to cook healthy, delicious meals on a tight budget.
The SOS production team is searching for an individual or family in Kansas City, MO, willing to share their story with a national audience. The guest(s) must demonstrate an eagerness to change their diet, following Chef Sarah’s advice on grocery shopping and cooking.
Kansas City Filming Locations: Guest’s home and Episcopal Community Services
Filming Dates: June 24 – 25, 2016
Guest(s) will receive valuable training on nutrition and cooking. No paid compensation will be provided; however, during filming days guest(s) will receive the opportunity to learn how to lose weight, save money, and change their lives forever.
