The Short Film Production IN REPAIR is Holding Auditions Monday, Wednesday, & Thursday, February 1st, 3rd, & 4th at Compass College of Cinematic Arts (Grand Rapids)
After unknowingly sleeping with her estranged daughter’s boyfriend, a lonely middle aged woman must redeem herself before her daughter moves out of state.
Auditions for IN REPAIR will be held from 4pm – 8:30 pm on Monday, February 1st . On Wednesday, February 3rd and T hursday, February 4th from 5 pm-8:30pm. All auditions will be held at 41 Sheldon Blvd SE. Grand Rapids, MI. 49503.
Parking is metered, but free after 5pm.
Auditions will consist of reading from the script.
Please bring a headshot and resume, if possible.
We are accepting both UNION and NON-UNION actors
Actors will be provided with food on set, and a copy of the film.
All roles are UNPAID and no lodging or travel accommodations will be provided. The roles being offered include:
- VickiAnderson [Gender:Female][Age35-45] a lonely woman searching for redemption after losing the trust of her husband and daughter. She unknowingly sleeps with her daughter’s boyfriend seemingly destroying her chances at a relationship with her daughter. She wishes to repair her lost marriage and the relationship with her daughter.
- Arya Norrington [Gender:Female] [Age 18-25] Daughter of Rick and Vicki, she is a smart young film school student. Arya is angry with her mother after finding out she sleeps with her boyfriend.
- She also holds animosity towards her mother for ruining her parent’s marriage. Deep down she still wants to give her mother a chance at being a part of her life.
- Sam Powell [Gender: Male] [Age 18-25] The boyfriend of Arya. He sleeps with Arya’s mother Vicki. He is the type of person that cares more about himself than others.
- Rick Norrington [Gender:Male] [Age 35-45] A hard working, clean cut, good man. The father of Arya and ex-husband of Vicki. He is still hurt from Vicki’s infidelity but still cares for her and his family. He advises Vicki to repair her relationship with Arya.
