Nightmare Project (working title) is a student short film scheduled to film in the Metro Detroit area in March 2016. The production is seeking to cast local actors in the non-paid roles listed below.
Concept: A woman who experiences terrifying nightmares faces her fears directly.
Roles to cast:
TRACY, Female, Age: 30-35
Main character, seeking help for her nightmares, African American, uneasy
MEREDITH, Female, AGE: 45+
Tracy’s therapist, caring, Person of Color
FATHER, Male, AGE: 40-45
Tracy’s father (for flashback sequences), African American, attentive single father, worn down
CREEPY DANCE TEACHER, Male or Female, AGE: 20s-30s
Creepy nightmare character, evil smirk, wears sickly make up, non-speaking role
