Walk The Line

I am writing a web series called “Walk The Line”. It is about 14 year old Gavin O’Brien, whose dad was a police officer killed by protesters. Gavin vows to do everything he can to stop the ongoing war between Cops and African Americans. He discovers a group of masked African American people called the ghettos, led by Niacto. Niacto reveals that the ghettos are going to burn down the police station. From that moment, Niacto and Gavin form a strong rivalry. Gavin runs home to his protective sister, Vanessa, who has severe anxiety and depression from their father’s death, and tells her, but she doesn’t want to hear about anything that has to do with police.
Roles Needed
Niacto (Supporting) – To play 15, Needing an African American/Hispanic/or African Descent actor to play threatening and hates Cops.
Vanessa (Supporting) – To play 14. Needing a Caucasian actress to play depressed, anxious, and protective of her brother
This production is currently looking for a director, but we will get one soon. It is very low budget, so actors won’t be paid. The series will film starting probably October on weekends, in San Marcos, California. If you are interested, contact me and I will send you a monologue you can record and send to me.

Hi! I’m 14 years old and interested in the part of Venessa. I think I have what it takes because for most of my life. I have experienced depression and anxiety. I am naturally a protective person especially when it comes to family. I have very light skin, dark and light hair (I will dye or bleach if i have to), and i stand about 5″7′. I am a local to San Diego so I will be able to come to rehearsal when ever I’m needed.
