The Plays:
“The Werewolves” by Alex Moon, directed by Corinne M Mason
Hans is only 16 when he is put in charge of an elite, top-secret squadron of Hitler’s Youth. Hormones flare as he and his comrades have to grapple with their sense of duty toward their country and their sense of duty toward their fellow man.
“The Daffodil Girls” by Amanda O’Donnell, directed by Ronni Marshak
The American social class system is examined and scrutinized through the lens of three young counselors sharing a cabin at an expensive girls’ summer camp. How do our economic standings affect who we are as people?
“the Moon. And she,” by Monica Giordano, directed by Erica Simpson
The Girl does not want to leave The Girl’s Mother, just like the Moon does not want to leave the Sun. Both, however, must. Follow the Moon on her revolutions, The Girl on her revelations, and both as step by step, and ocean by ocean, they become who they are: lights in the dark.
