Travel Podcast Host
Location: Cambridge, MA
Type: Other Projects
Do you get excited for long drives but anxious because you don’t know what podcast to listen to first? Do your roommates get weirded out when they come in the room and find you staring at a blank TV listening to podcasts on your phone? Do you feel visuals paired with audio is superfluous? Then you’re a podcast fanatic and we want you!
The in-house agency for EF Educational Tours in Boston is looking for a host for a new podcast we are piloting. In this role, you’ll be joining a small team with a “roll up your sleeves, all hands on deck, get ‘er done” mentality. You’ll be out in the field collecting stories, in the studio recording, on the phone organizing interviews and anything else we need to do to make this successful. This is a first for EF and we need a team member to not just lend their voice but also their writing, interviewing and organizational skills. Oh, and if you have any previous podcast experience, please let us know because that is a huge plus. At EF, we never stop pushing the boundaries of what we can do and where we want to go and we want you to be a part of this.
We’re looking for someone who has no problem chatting with strangers on the street. Someone who engages people in conversation and can gracefully switch from topic to topic without missing a beat. We’re looking for someone who has a voice of gold and a few writing samples up their sleeve. We want the person who quiets a room with a story, cracks the jokes that get the whole team laughing and makes everyone feel at ease. Last but not least, we’re looking for someone who understand the value of travel and the transformation that comes from it.
