Open Casting Call – CU Denver Film Production Program

The University of Colorado at Denver Film and Television Program is pleased to announce a joint casting call for our film production classes for spring semester 2016. This joint session will be casting dozens of roles for a variety of classes and projects, from directing exercises, to web series production, to first and second year short film projects.
All projects will provide footage for actors’ reels, opportunities to work on a professional set, a chance to meet up-and-coming filmmakers in the Denver community, a likelihood of screening at Cinefest, our year-end film festival, and potential additional opportunities at other film festivals. These are nonunion projects. Although most roles are unpaid, a handful are paid.
Shoot dates will vary by project, but all projects will be shot in February, March, and April 2016.
All ages, genders, and ethnicities are encouraged to apply.
Auditions will be held at our downtown Auraria campus on the evenings of Thursday February 18, Friday February 19, and Saturday February 20. Interested actors should send headshot and resume to ucd.casting@gmail.com
Please prepare a short monologue (3 minute max), and some actors may be contacted to prepare additional sides. Individual appointments will be made, and parking and other details will be provided at that time.
