The FOX hit music drama “Empire” is back in production and there is a casting out for a featured role in the Chicago area.
The show’s casting team is looking for an actress to fill the role of a stripper in an upcoming scene of the show. While this is a non-speaking role, it will require an in person audition in the Chicago area. Auditions will be held this coming Thursday and will be held by appointment only. To get an audition appointment, talent must follow the directions below to submit their photos and information for consideration. There is also a casting call out for a bouncer / security type, musician types and general extras to play pedestrians as well.
“Empire” is a sexy and powerful drama that focuses on Empire Entertainment and the family that runs it. At the helm, is Lucious Lyon (Terrence Howard), a self made music mogul who has always kept a tight grip on his company but gets some bad news that threatens his control. “Empire” also stars , Taraji P. Henson and Gabourey Sidibe. The show is being produced by 20th Century Fox Television, in association with Imagine Entertainment, Lee Daniels Entertainment, Danny Strong Productions and Little Chicken Inc.

NON-SPEAKING FEATURED EXTRA ROLE
AUDITION DATE: Thurs., 1/14. This audition will entail you dancing in front of the producer/director and casting director – you MUST be comfortable doing this. You may be asked to dance around a pole, booty twerk, etc.

TENTATIVE SHOOT DATE: Tue., 1/26/16
SHOOT LOCATION: Chicago – A location close to Calumet Park, so you must have transportation.
RATE IF BOOKED: $500/8 hours
STRIPPERS: Female, Any Ethnicity, 22 – 35 yoa. We are looking for women that are comfortable being portrayed as strippers on TV. There will be no nudity involved, but you must be comfortable being scantily clad. You must have dancing experience i.e booty clapping, pole dancing, lap dancing, go-go dancing, etc. Please list your dancing experience in your resume and please be honest with your experience.
