Pivotal Moments: 3 One Act Plays About Family Surprises

Casting actors in a show featuring 3 original one act plays being produced in early April at DCAC. Actors will each have multiple roles and should be versatile. There will be a total of two shows the weekend of April 9th. Actors will need to have full availability both Saturday, April 9th and Sunday, April 10th to perform. Auditions will be held via Skype. Call-backs will be in person the weekend of February 20th both Saturday and Sunday scheduled between 11 and 4 each day. Each actor will receive a $100 cash stipend per show ($200 Total Flat). Rehearsals will be held partially via SKYPE (Sun-Wed Evenings after 7PM) and partially IN PERSON some Saturdays and Sundays (11:30AM – 2:00PM) and will not be paid. - Female late 50’s to early 60’s (Will play 2 roles) – Caucasian – Attractive. Skilled with comedy and drama.
- Female late 20’s to mid thirties (Will play 2 roles) – Caucasian – Sexy with a good dramatic bite. Could believably play a socialite and a hooker. Versatility a must.
- Male late twenties to mid thirties (Will play 2 roles) – Any Race – Early to mid-30s Great with drama. Attractive with a mysterious edge.
- Male 18 to early 20’s who could pass for a teenager (no minors please) (Will Play 3 roles) – Any Race – Kind of quirky. Great with creating varied characters. Can play young, and has some depth.
