Casting the following roles for an independent short film titled: Star Raider
A strange meteor from outer space brings to life the childhood action hero of a young girls late father. Star Raider sets out on a journey of self-discovery to deal with the knowledge that everything he knows is make believe. However, a threat emerges that pushes him to find the hero within to save our world.
Filming would be on weekends in June TBD.
Location: Birmingham and potentially areas south of town
Speaking Roles:
Dr. Bromwell – 50s slightly unstable scientist
Matt – 10/12 year old boy
Kevin – 10/12 year old boy
Kyle – 20/30s hipster/geek type (lover of all things superhero/scifi)
NonSpeaking Roles:
Male athletic type, stage combat experience a plus
Compensation: Copy/credit/food and fun!
