New Season of “Halt and Catch Fire” is now casting extras
AMC’s 1980’s set series “Halt and Catch Fire” is filming in the Atlanta area this month and has a casting call out to fill a few upcoming roles.
AMC’s “Halt and Catch Fire” is created by Christopher Cantwell and Christopher C. Rogers. The show stars Lee Pace, Scoot McNairy, Mackenzie Davis, Kerry Bishé, David Wilson Barnes, Toby Huss. It’s the early 1980s, and the spirit of innovation in personal computing is about to catch fire. Hot on the trail is a renegade trio — a visionary, an engineer and a prodigy — who risk everything to realize their vision of building a computer that can change the future. Not long after IBM corners the market with its flagship PC, a flaw is discovered in its operation, opening the door for competition. In steps Joe MacMillan, a former IBM executive who now works for Cardiff Electric. MacMillan has a project planned that will confront the computing giants of the time. With the help of 2 engineers, he will reverse engineer the IBM PC. Their personal and professional partnership will be challenged by greed and ego while charting the changing culture in Texas’ Silicon Prairie.

FOR NEXT WEEK – we are looking for a hand and arm double — a caucasian male around 6’1 – 6’4 athletic to average – decent looking hands — not super hairy arms — and that is great at slicing veggies — ideally a chef or similar but that’s not required just that you are great at slicing veggies.
