Follow the North Star is a participatory museum theatre experience in which attendees travel back to the year 1836 and assume the role of fugitive slaves that are seeking freedom on the Underground Railroad through Indiana. It is intended to be a serious program that pays tribute to African-Americans who lived during this tragic time. The program is offered both during the day in March and during the day and evening in April.

New Owners/Sale: Male, Caucasian, 20-50, intimidating

Jacob Williams: Male, Caucasian, 30-50, disgruntled southerner, intimidating, despondent

Former Fugitive: Male or Female, African American, 20-50, has already made it to freedom in the North and now heading back South to assist a realtive to freedom, cautious and helpful

Mr. Ward: Male, African American, 30-50, free black male
