I am urgently casting for Dartmoor Railways brand new and exciting Christmas show ‘The Train To Christmas Town’. This is a family event that takes the riders on a magical journey to the North Pole and back again!
The contract runs Monday 27th November – Saturday 23rd December, including paid rehearsals and your days off. This is a full time role over the contract and we do need somebody who can perform every show. Based in Okehampton, Devon.
I am looking for a performer to take on the role of a ‘Magical Squirrel’ complete with bushy tail! This person needs to have great characterisation and improvisation skills plus some form of magical/illusion skill – such as contact juggling, but we are open to ideas.
The event is set on a moving train – so only skills that would suit the location please. No fire or arial etc.
We have free, basic accommodation available on site for the performer who takes on this role.
