“They’re Watching” is a short horror film written by award-winning screenwriter of “The Suicide Theory” (on Netflix, 76% Rotten Tomatoes), Michael J. Kospiah.

A down-on-his luck alcoholic moves into a new apartment after breaking up with his girlfriend. When he finds out that a previous tenant committed suicide there, he suspects the place may be haunted. But he soon discovers that it’s not quite that simple…

ROLES:

MADELINE (LEAD)
(mid 20s/early 30s)
Punk-meets-hipster, piercings, tattoos, dyed hair. Straight forward, calls it like she sees it. A bit of a thrill-seeker. Not flaky but more “airy”.

DARWIN (LEAD)
(mid 20s/early 30s)
Good-looking in an every-man kinda way. But rough around the edges. A functioning alcoholic. Vulnerable but he tries to hide it through sarcasm.

ELEANOR (SUPPORTING)
(50s/60s)
Off beat. Kinda creepy.

ANNIE (SUPPORTING)
(mid 20s/early 30s)
Thin, long hair, creepy. Think the girl from “The Ring” but more reality-based.
