Casting “West Side Story, for the roles of Riff, and other jets as follows, Arab, Diesel, Snow Boy, and Baby John.
Ethnicity: Caucasian
Character description for Riff (Lead): Male, seeking performers age 18-30, to play role as a 17 ish aged Riff.
He is athletic, quick-tempered leader of the Jets; he seeks to eliminate the Sharks and establish his own gang’s dominance; Tony’s best friend, he is eventually murdered by Bernardo;
strong singer; range: Bb2 – G4; excellent dancer required.

REHEARSAL AND PERFORMANCE DATES AND LOCATIONS
Rehearsals begin middle to end of June, 2017 in Temecula, CA;
Rehearses two nights per week 5:30-10:30 p.m. and Sat. 10 a.m.-7 p.m. (not always the entire day),
starting mid to end of June , 2017. there is a Vacation week July 9 – 16
then full runs begin July 31 with four eves per week and Sat, , then Tech/Dress week is Aug. 7 (plan for tech and or dress rehearsal everyday this week. Opening night is on Thursday Aug. 11th
Performances on Aug. 11 and 12 with 3 total shows at the Pechanga Resort Casino (1200 seat) Show Room. Four week break, and then Sept. 7th pick up/dress at the Fox Riverside Performing Arts Center, then 2 performances (1 each) on Sept. 8 and 9.
COMPENSATION DETAILS
Pay varies. Note: Jet Gang stipend is $900, Riff stipend is $1200. Additional gas allowance is possible, some housing may also be available. If sales permit there is a possibility of an added performance at the Pechanga Resort Casino with additional pay for the additional performance.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Submit reels of vocal, acting, and dance in order to be called back for the final audition in person in May. Date and Time TBA. Location is Temecula, CA.
