Cirque Exotique du Monde (a stage play)
Location: Redwood City, CA
Type: Theater
Hans Heinrich, the giant (male, any age)
Hans the Giant (presumably 8 feet tall), is a seasoned performer at Cirque Exotique du Monde in Berlin (1936). He takes his craft very seriously which is in contrast to his side-kick, the smoking, drinking and marginally talented Little Giant. Hans is a gentle, sensitive soul who enjoys escaping into a world of poetry and literature. Because Hans’ stature and presence are intimidating, he is frequently called upon to deter the Nazi officers who threaten the circus. This part requires solid acting experience along with a convincingly large stature and stage presence. Clowning skills a plus or a willingness to learn. Please provide resume, head-shot and general availability for auditions to kboussina@gmail.com. The directors will follow-up regarding audition date and time.
