In Need of Actors for Online PSA (Los Angeles or San Diego)

5:00 Films & Media is casting for an online PSA for USCIS with the goal of helping immigrants know where to find accurate resources online so they can make an informed decision about US citizenship. Seeking actors of various ethnicities (Filipino, Chinese, African and Latino).
The shoot will take place on Saturday, February 25 and Sunday, February 26 in either San Diego or Los Angeles. Please let us know which day/s and location/s you are available as different scenes will be filmed on different days and at different places.

Role List:
Male African Actor Needed for PSA, Aged 40-60
African actor, between the ages of 40 and 60, to read two lines of the script in a restaurant scene. Should be able to speak English in an African accent (any region). We should need you for about 2 hours, including makeup.
If you are cast, you will be asked to provide a few of your own wardrobe options by sending photos of yourself in a few different outfits that a restaurant owner might wear. On the day of the shoot, you’ll need to provide whichever outfit is chosen.
The rate for this job is $400. Non-union and locals only.
Filipina Actress Needed for PSA, Aged 40-60
Filipina or Southeast Asian actress, between the ages of 40 and 60, to read two lines of the script in a university scene. Should be able to speak English in a Filipino accent. We should need you for about 2 hours, including makeup.
If you are cast, you will be asked to provide a few of your own wardrobe options by sending photos of yourself in a few different outfits that a college professor might wear. On the day of the shoot, you’ll need to provide whichever outfit is chosen.
The rate for this job is $400. Non-union and locals only.
Chinese Actress Needed for PSA, Aged 40-60
Chinese actress, between the ages of 40 and 60, to read two lines of the script in an office scene. Should be able to speak English in a Chinese accent. We should need you for about 2 hours, including makeup.
If you are cast, you will be asked to provide a few of your own wardrobe options by sending photos of yourself in a few different office outfits. On the day of the shoot, you’ll need to provide whichever outfit is chosen.
The rate for this job is $400. Non-union and locals only.
Mid 40’s Mexican Actor Needed for PSA
Mid-40’s Mexican actor for a child’s birthday party scene. Must be able to speak Spanish and English fluently with a Mexican accent. We should need you for a half day.
You’ll also need to provide five or six extras for non-speaking roles in the scene. The scene is a family gathered around a diner table, celebrating a child’s birthday. The extras must include a Mexican woman in her 40’s. Other extras could be an older man and/or woman as grandparents. Additional compensation will be provided for each extra, up to six.
If you are cast, you will be asked to provide a few of your own wardrobe options by sending photos of yourself in a few different casual outfits. On the day of the shoot, you’ll need to provide whichever outfit is chosen.
The rate for this job is $500 for the actor, plus $75 each for five or six extras. Non-union and locals only.
