“Beeswax” is about an orphaned granddaughter, who must overcome her fear of bees to push her old world grandfather to repair her dead father’s accordion and restore music to their lives,
Available Roles:
POPS* (age ~65-80) a do-it-yourself, good-humored Italian grandfather who needs to learn to care for his granddaughter
ANNA** (age ~9-12) a plain-spoken granddaughter who must learn that life stings sometimes
*working knowledge of a romance language a plus, but not required
**actors of diverse backgrounds are encouraged to apply
Compensation: Meals will be provided during working hours. Actors will receive film credit and receive a copy of the movie poster. Due to student budget constraints and insurance parameters, no additional compensation is available at this time.
