“Three Minutes to Midnight” – working title

Location: Stony Brook, NY

Type: Film

After finding out that her husband has died fighting overseas, young widow Katie must learn to move on – explored in two timelines – one moving forward in her life towards coming to terms with what’s happened and the other moving backwards in time exploring various milestones in her relationship with her husband.

Casting for:

Sandi (leading, female, any ethnicity, 18-28):
The lifelong best friend of the main character, Sandi is instrumental in helping her friend come to terms with what’s happened and moving forward in her life. She’s spunky and full of life, and will always stand up for and stand by her friend no matter what. Must be comfortable speaking in a rural Southern accent.

Aunt Lauren (Caucasian, female, supporting, 45-70):
The aunt of the main character. She’s somewhat racist and bigoted, with very outdated views on the world. She probably has her niece’s best interests in heart, but has a funny way of showing it.
