ROLES NEEDED
Otto Hilfrich
Male/Principal/Caucasian/20-30
MUST BE A FLUENT GERMAN SPEAKER. A German soldier in his early 30s who has been indoctrinated into the Nazi regime’s way of thinking; he is haunted however by his first kill, a story which he shields from everyone but himself. Insecurity lives within him.
Gunter Wolfgang
Male/Supporting/Caucasian/30-40
MUST BE A FLUENT GERMAN SPEAKER. An SS Colonel, 40s. Has been posted in France in the final days of German occupation. A highly intelligent individual, who is assertive who does not tolerate incompetence. He is a violent, cold-blooded man with fury imprinted on his face. He is sympathetic to the Nazi regime and to the soldiers around him, and he is devoted to the Führer.
Young German Soldier
Male/Background/Caucasian/18-25
Executed by Otto for deserting; he is barely 19, a drafted soldier, not a true fighter; he is young and vulnerable, childlike eyes, baby-faced.
Checkpoint Soldier
Male/Background/Caucasian/25-35
A tall gaunt German soldier, mid 30’s, who has been guarding a checkpoint post for longer than he can remember.
