My name is Colin and I’m in charge of finding new talent for our company, The Trivia Factory. We run pub quizzes all round the country. The reason I’m reaching out is we are looking to hire new quiz hosts and since some of our best quizmasters have come from the improv world and I’m hoping you can help.
Long story short, we are about to launch events in the area and are in need of a few good people who are comfortable with rag tag rooms of people, who can talk on mic and who want to make some extra scratch. Improv-ers are ideal because the gig often involves fast responses and acting on the fly, but we’d love to hear from anyone who has a fun personality and can hold their own. People in your improv classes? Box office staff? Even if its a friend of someone you work with who can roll with the punches, I’d love to talk to them. It’s a 2 hour gig, once a week. Pays $50 plus a $25 house tab.
